You have a website now, don't
you want your site to be listed by
popular search engines? Here I am
writing about how to submit your
website to popular search engines
and web directories.
The
Open
Directory Project (ODP) is
the largest, most comprehensive
human-edited directory of the web.
It is constructed and maintained by
a vast, global community of
volunteer editors. The ODP is also
known as DMOZ, an acronym for
Directory Mozilla.
You can
submit your site to Open
Directory and if your site
has been accepted, it will be
listed on partner sites which use
the Open Directory data, such as
AOL
Search,
DirectHit,
HotBot,
Google,
Lycos,
Netscape Search and
hundreds of others. It may take
several weeks or more before your
submission is reviewed and accepted
by an ODP editor.
Submit your site to the
following directories/search
engines and make sure that your
site gets proper visibility!
